POSITION: Senior IT Consultant / Technician

THE WORK:
- Hands-on site support technician and consultant (at client sites and remote)
- Work examples include: end user support, server installation & configuration, network planning & security, and much more
- We are the "site managers" for a number of small- to medium-size businesses
- We assume complete responsibility for the site and computer issues, and are advisors to management - We either do the work or find someone with the necessary skills to do the work
- Need to be able to work independently and have a dependable vehicle
- This is an immediate opening for a full-time position
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS NEEDED:
- 5+ years related work experience required - this is not a training position
- Extensive experience with Microsoft servers and network environments - Windows 2000, 2003, 2008, SBS
- Extensive experience with Microsoft desktop versions of Windows
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Virus cleanup and registry evaluation
- LAN / WAN, IP address routing
- Email servers & spam management
- Troubleshooting and people skills are critical - We need to hear the problems, fix the problems and then communicate what we did to the customer
- The work is already here - you need the experience to be productive from day one

COMPENSATION:
- $44k+ base starting salary depending on experience
- Quarterly bonuses based on productivity
- Compensation for any existing clients
- Commissions for new clients you bring into the company
